Magic Super is the coming together of four musicians from diverse cultures, sharing the same passion for improvised music. Initially formed as a trio in 2019 under the name "Margot Rivaille Trio," the group transformed into a quartet a few years later with the arrival of Congolese guitarist Dany Muanga. Founded by pianist Margot Rivaille, Magic Super unveils an organic sound, combining ethereal melodies with frenetic improvisations. Influenced by the music of Yotam Silberstein and Carlos Aguirre, each member's ideas flow, intertwine, and converge, forming an energetic and captivating ensemble. Since Margot Rivaille's recent arrival at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussels, a new team has been formed, now incorporating the talented musicians Edoardo Cimino, John de Martino, and Grigoris Theodoridis. This new line-up marks a new beginning for Magic Super, who rediscovers her initial compositions and brings new inspiration to the composer. Originally from Vannes, Margot Rivaille immerses the listener in the poetic universe of her themes, which draw in music the landscapes of her childhood.
