It is always with great pleasure that we welcome Satchie Noro at ARTONOV. This time she brings us an open air performance, co-created with Elise Vigneron. A body of water: the ponds of Ixelles. On the water: a floating stage. On the stage, a trio consisting of a dancer and her double: a human-sized puppet made of ice, suspended from a wooden frame and brought to life by a puppeteer. Two creatures experimenting with their subjection and emancipation. The melting ice reveals the nature of the double. Beyond the ice, there's another material, a framework to explore. Dancing to discover oneself, to find oneself. Mizu celebrates impermanence, the fragility of our existence, like an ode to life. The fusion with the element that makes up our body: water, the passage from form to formlessness, from the individual to the cosmos.
