Born in Menorca, the versatile pianist, improviser and composer Marco Mezquida is the embodiment of musical passion and is considered one of the most lively figures in the Spanish jazz scene. He has collaborated with a wide variety of artists from Spain and abroad, recorded a significant amount of music, both solo as in collaborative projects, and has played all over the globe. As a multiplier of musical presences, his praised solo piano concerts can be understood as a one-man orchestra.
