In a performance area that probes the space occupied by the audience and that of the stage, the Demestri+Lefeuvre company has created a multi-faceted choreographic work based upon non-anthropocentric forms of movement and on differing ways of anchoring movement within time.A magma of bodies formed by the seven performers, and criss-crossed by rapid and precise flashes of movement, forms and embodies molecular, mineral, plant, animal and hybrid representations, like so many inter-species utopias.The holobiont, a sort of supraorganism, serves as a framework for this new, sensitive and generous creation, from which emerges “a concrete sensation of new possibilities capable of challenging the realms of our imagination”.
