The ninth edition of the Spanish Influencers in Science series is here, organized by CEBE Spanish Scientist in Belgium with the support of the Instituto Cervantes, Spanish Embassy, and Fundación Ramón Areces. This time, the focus is on one of the most urgent threats to global health: antibiotic resistance. To tackle this topic, we’ll be joined by two outstanding professors and speakers: - Carmen Torres de la Universidad de La Rioja – Specialist in antimicrobial resistance. - Rob Lavigne de la KU Leuven – Pioneer in phage therapy and development of antibacterial enzymes. Two engaging talks in English, followed by an open conversation with the audience. And to close the evening — a cocktail with Spanish tapas! An event to learn, debate, and connect science with society. We look forward to seeing you there!
